On January 1, 2018, a team from FAO Global visited Myanmar to assess the economic, political, and security environment for western businesses. The trip visited the three major areas, Yangon (the Capital), Mandalay, and Bagan. During this 8-day trip, our associates talked with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Yangon, private consultants, and business owners to assess opportunities and challenges.
